Habitat for Humanity “brings communities together to help families build strength, stability, and independence through affordable homeownership.” So far Rotary Club of LaSalle Centennial’s team of volunteers has helped with two local home building projects. In April 2019, we installed siding and soffits on the outside and dry walled the inside of a new home in Ford City.

Again in Nov 2019, we helped on a build in Kingsville. We demolished an old, unsalvageable garage, built a ramp, built shelving units, then cleaned and swept. We had a wonderful day, content in the knowledge we were moving the completion of the build along - one swing of the sledgehammer and one swipe of the broom at a time.

As we are able, we look forward to participating again.
