LaSalle Strawberry Festival Parade
For several decades the much loved Strawberry Festival parade has entertained children of all ages. In 2019, we participated for the first time with our Rotary LaSalle Centennial float. After the pandemic. we again walked the parade route as well as provide sponsor funds to the Strawberry Festival.
2023
In 2023, we joined the parade with a new parade float- turning a small red car into a strawberry. Members, an Interactor and our own youth exchange student - Kento carried banners and signs.
2022
Dave Orosz provided the pickup . The Rotary Club of Cottam graciously lent us their inflatable Rotary Logo. Some members waved signs while others walked and distributed candy to children on the route.
2019
Dave Nicodemo from Colautti supplied the flat bed. The Rotary Club of Cottam graciously lent us their inflatable Rotary Logo. Joined by the LaSalle Interactors, some members rode waving signs while others walked and distributed candy to children on the route.
